Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Starrer Brahmastra To Take A Mega Fall? Film Swamped With Negative Reviews-READ BELOW
Do not be deceived by the reports that have polluted the social media space!

Several reports have claimed that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s first collaboration - Brahmastra is successfully inching towards achieving heavy box-office numbers but in reality, the situation has taken a turn for the worst. The film had been facing backlash from all quarters, but after its release, the film is also facing poor reviews from critics as well.

Amid the chaos, the hashtag ‘Boycott Brahmastra’ has made it difficult for the films to survive at the theatres, and it continues to trend on Twitter. Soon after the movie hit the screens, people began sharing visuals of empty theatres, while critics posted negative reviews for the film. Several notable critics reviews the film and took a swipe at the recently released Barhmastra and highlighted that it did not stand out as expected. A top critic from The Wrap stated that neither the action scenes nor the musical numbers stood out, and none of the characters or their performers transcends their expected roles.

Nevertheless, Bollywood’s latest film might become another case study as Scott Mendelson from Forbes compared the film with Hollywood’s mistakes over the last decade while trying to replicate the success of Marvel movies.

“Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva resembles a checklist of every mistake Hollywood made over the last decade trying to replicate the success of Marvel's The Avengers,” read an excerpt from the review.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP and Senior Supreme Court advocate Abhishek Singhvi took to Twitter and explained how in a trilogy film like Brahmastra, only a good script would work.

“Hearing very good things about Bhramastra VFX. But given that it's a trilogy, only a good script will work. Remember all fantasy series like GoT, Harry Potter & Marvel & DC stuff have a strong basis in script,” he stated.

Atul Mohan, a movie business analyst shared his review on Twitter stating how the movie failed due to the lack of a good script.

However, the makers and actors seem to have turned a blind eye toward all the reviews and backlash on social media.

Despite all the hype and overdone promotions by the cast of the film including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji and others, it is quite evident by the unenthusiastic response that Brahmastra got negative reviews from the audience too, reported RepublicWorld.

Meanwhile, the VFX, cinematography and action sequences depicted in the film received an average response from the audience, they criticised the film for having cringe-worthy dialogues and unrelatable content.
